DEEPLINK MEDICAL RAISES 10 MILLION EUROS WITHIN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY TO DEVELOP THE TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL CHANGE THE FUTURE OF RADIOLOGY
Deeplink Medical received 10 millions euros entirely from fundraising within the medical community. Deeplink Medical’s initiatives are to grow their product offering, to accelerate their product distribution, and develop their position as a key player in the medical imagery field.
The funding was sourced entirely from the medical community surrounding Deeplink Medical and their partners: IMADIS, France’s leading radiologist serving in urgent teleradiology, along with 11 prominent radiology groups in France.
It is an effort that offers the medical community the possibility to participate and influence the development of tools that are already in use or going to be deployed. Dr. Charles Journé, President of Deeplink Medical, shares, “Deeplink Medical gives the keys back to the medical community to be the agents of change and technology development. It is a major guarantee of the confidence of our customers, and a stand against the current financialization of health.”
Hugues Lajoie, General Director of Deeplink Medical, points to the potential developments made available by this funding: “This increase in capital, beyond a recognition of our part in this sector, will permit us to extend and accelerate the distribution of our existing solutions. It will equally open possibilities to develop our range of services, to continue to innovate and offer new solutions, especially internationally.”
Deeplink Medical started in 2014 by 5 radiologists with one ambition: create a medical collaboration for health professionals to optimize their service to patients. From this vision, ITIS was born. ITIS is a platform that manages radiological and tele-radiological exams between healthcare professionals. Today, ITIS, the only platform with the certification CE “medical device” in France, is utilized in over 150 establishments by more than 31,000 health professionals.
MIRIO is the second platform developed by Deeplink Medical. MIRIO was developed by oncologists and radiologists to ensure the proper evaluation and follow-up of solid tumors in an efficient and optimal fashion. Winner of the 2018 Unicancer Innovation Award, MIRIO is now used by 4 CLCC and deployed at 50 investigator sites.
Deeplink Medical is a 360° service, offering a range of services from the design of solutions to technical help, including support and training for medical and paramedical teams. Where others propose a general solution, Deeplink Medical provides specialized solutions, validated and proven by each care sector.
